Tidy Towns are holding their annual competition for the best maintained estates, premises and houses in the village. We are asking all business owners, property owners and residents of the village to assist us by putting out flower baskets or window boxes outside their premises and ensuring everything is cleaned and presented well for the judges.

Dear Householder/Business Owner

The Tidy Towns will be holding it’s annual competition and will be taking photos of the village, surrounding roads and estates on the August bank holiday weekend.

We encourage all estates in Tinahely, (Derry Drive, Village Gate, Bramble Hill, The Tyndles, The Hollows, Carraigmor, Mill Court, Holt’s Crescent, Kilcommon View, Pound Lane, Beechwood Drive, Beechwood Park and Meadow Hill) to get their estate ready, and we hope all houses in each estate do their part by having their home and grass area mowed and maintained in order to enhance the appearance of their estate.

We want residents in Tinahely to take an active role in maintaining their own stretch of road and ensure it is maintained on a monthly basis.

Please support the Tidy Towns and the committee, we have a beautiful village, ad we are doing our best to improve it’s appearance , which in turn will improve the impact of the village on visitors and enhance community life for everyone.

Let’s do this together !
