Eat, Drink, Stay

Visitors to Tinahely have a range of options when it comes to accommodation, bars and food. There is an Hotel, several Bed and Breakfasts and Guesthouses in the vicinity, all offering a warm welcome and high standards of comfort.

A truly traditional Irish welcome is to be found in all the local bars, and several of them offer live music, traditional music sessions, and some special events such as local drama presentations, poker sessions, table quiz nights and just a chance to meet the locals.

The Dying Cow, a farmhouse pub in the townland of Kilquiggan, just outside Tinahely, is a hidden gem and hosts trad nights every second Thursday. All of our pubs make a wonderful destination on a sunny weekend afternoon, especially for the weary hiker, and the principles of Walkers Welcome are widely adhered to.
